Offering a Second Lower Price in Direct Mail Marketing A good idea is to offer a lower price of your product on a second mailer sent out to those who did not respond. Obviously you will need to discuss this with whoever is in charge of the product if you're not selling it independently. This is a good idea and just makes sense logically. All the people who did not respond decided that they wanted to spend zero money with you. If you hit them back with another mailer giving them a lower cost at the product, you will at least make some money off of them. They will also be more likely to respond if they remember the first offer and think that they're getting a value through direct mail.
