Letter Reinforcement in Direct Mail Advertising

Merely mailing a reprint of your original mail piece with another response card is not an affective way to use direct mail marketing. Most direct mailers have discovered that reprint mailing can be far more affective if an endorsement letter is added to the package. Readers will see the letter as a one-on-one personal communication, and they will be more likely to read it and consider your offer. It is also affective to have the second add you send out be re-done in some way. Sending the exact same thing twice can sometimes be affective, but changing things up is more likely to work.
