Their are many statistical numbers you will need to analyze to track the results of your direct mail marketing. First there is the "cost per thousand" which is what it cost to reach 1,000 prospects with your ad. Their is the percentage response, which is a basic percentage of how many people responded to your ad. Their is "cost per inquiry" which is how much it costs to get a sales lead, then there is the conversion rate which is the percentage of leads that convert to sales.
