How to Get Attention in Direct Mail Marketing

Your potential customers are bombarded everyday by things competing for their attention span. Anything from TV, to their families, to their jobs. This means that your headline/envelopes and direct mail have to work hard just to get your customer to give enough attention to open the envelope. One way is to deliver a big promise or make it seem like you're delivering urgent news that demands immediate attention.
