Getting the Buyer to "Act Now" in Direct Mail Marketing

Some good ways to get customers to "act now" is to offer a quick response bonus or a deadline/expiration date on your product or service. The quick response bonus is usually just an extra premium or service given to the customer for responding as fast as they could. Some direct mailers prefer using a limited period for responses rather than an actual expiration date. If you use and expiration date it dates the promotion. Allot of direct mailers just prefer to say "Respond within the first fifteen days" and then use their own digression as a cut-off date for responses.
