Order Forms in Direct Mail Marketing

Except for very rare occasions in direct mail marketing,

usually the mere act of including a response card / order form

(even if you are not expecting a response by mail) increases

your readership and returns. This is because the response

device makes the recipient aware of the fact that a decision is

required.

The only times not to ask for a response would be when you

want to disseminate information, when you send info sheets to

"participating dealers" or when you advise clients / customers

of new staff or employees. It works in most forms of direct mail.
