Reply Envelopes in Direct Mail Marketing If you use a reply envelope there are a couple of different ways you can go. You can use a business reply envelope, or have the customer use their own stamp on a response envelope, or you can have a reply envelope with a live stamp. The stamp reply envelope almost always works better with direct mail because the respondent has to do the least amount of work with this option.
