Lumping Headlines Together in Direct Mail Marketing

If you have several product or service benefits, then you should consider trying to lump them together under a single headline that uses the number of benefits as an attention getter. An example of this would be "6 ways to use your telescope fishing rod" or something along those lines. The technique may sound a little corny, but it works. People love to follow numbers. Using numbers will magnify the total amount of benefits that you are offering and will often increase your response in your direct mail.
